Smart Step

Smart Step ("Step" - Servite Technology and Enterprise Programme) prepares upper school students for the work force. It is specifically designed for those students with ambitions to enter a specific work area upon leaving school. Students participate in a wide range of courses and activities. One day a week students complete an industry placement programme negotiated by the student and organised by the school. A staff member especially connected to Smart Step visits the students in the work place and, with the employer, assesses the student’s progress.
